What this site collects.
We don’t ask for, or store, personal data through this website.
- No forms, no cookies and nothing stored in your browser.
- No advertising, no tracking pixels and no social media widgets. Fonts, scripts and images come from this site, except the Cloudflare Web Analytics script described below.
- The optional sound on the home page is a tone generated in your browser and a short recorded clip served from this site. It plays only if you turn it on, and the site never uses your microphone.
Hosting and server logs.
This site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard technical data when your browser asks for a page, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. Cloudflare uses it to deliver the site and keep it secure, and may keep it in server logs under Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Visit statistics.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. Cloudflare adds a small script, loaded from static.cloudflareinsights.com, that reports each page view to Cloudflare.
It records things like the page you visited, the site that sent you, your browser and device type, your country, and how fast the page loaded. We only see totals, not individual visitors. Cloudflare says Web Analytics uses no cookies or browser storage and does not fingerprint or follow individuals across sites. Cloudflare handles this data under Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
If you block the script, for example with a content blocker, the site works exactly the same.
If you contact us.
If you email, call or message us, we receive your email address or phone number and whatever you choose to include. We use it only to reply to you and to manage your enquiry.
Our email is hosted on Google Workspace, so your emails are stored with Google under Google’s privacy policy.
The website itself collects none of this: a phone link only opens your phone app, and the WhatsApp link opens WhatsApp. Messages you send on WhatsApp are handled by WhatsApp under its own terms and privacy policy.
Other websites.
Links to LinkedIn, GitHub, the Udyam Registration portal and other sites take you to services with their own privacy policies. We don’t control what they collect.
Client project data.
Data we handle for a client during a project is handled under that project’s contract. Confidentiality terms are to be set out in the contract.
Your rights.
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your emails and the personal data we hold about you. Write to biresh@birulabs.com.
We handle personal data under applicable law, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
