Talk to your editor. It talks back.

WapasBol is a voice-to-voice assistant for developers, made by Biru Labs. Ask about your code out loud: it answers, teaches you while AI builds, and debugs with you, in English, हिंदी or Hinglish.

See it work

Meet WapasBol.

A question about code, Hinglish, a whiteboard lesson, a bug found together, a build with Claude Code, a mistake it learns from, checkpoints, and its personality.

The scenes are scripted for this film; the interface on screen is the real WapasBol overlay, in development. Voices: Microsoft neural voices.

How it works

  1. 01 / 04

    You speak.

Say “bol bol” or press a key, and ask in your own words. No typing, no switching windows, no pasting code into a chat box.

  2. 02 / 04

    It reads your project.

WapasBol looks at the window in front of you, the file you mean and the error you're seeing, so you don't have to explain it.

  3. 03 / 04

    It thinks.

Your question and that context go to the AI model you choose, running on your PC or with your own key.

  4. 04 / 04

    It answers out loud.

You hear a short, clear reply in the language you asked in. Ask a follow-up the same way, or talk over it.

Features on this page are in development and may change.

YouWhy does getNames give me undefined?

WapasBolThe map callback never returns anything. Add return before user.name.trim().

A small light at the top of your screen.

WapasBol waits as a small pill. Say “bol bol” or press the hotkey and it opens into the orb, listens and answers, then tucks back up out of your way.

What it does

More than answers.

WapasBol explains your code, and then it teaches, debugs and builds with you. Every picture here is the real interface.

The WapasBol orb turned into the code of names.ts, the line with the bug glowing, under the question “Why does getNames give me undefined?”
Ask out loud

It reads your code.

Ask about the line, the error or the file in front of you. The orb reads it and answers in seconds.

A question asked in Hindi, “यह function क्या करता है?”, and WapasBol’s answer in Hinglish
Your language

English, हिंदी or Hinglish.

Ask the way you talk. It answers in the language you asked in, in Indian voices.

A whiteboard titled “The base case” beside the orb, with boxes 3, 2 and 1 and the last one circled
Whiteboard

It teaches as it talks.

Say “explain it on the whiteboard” and it draws frame by frame while it explains: flows, cells and trees.

The debug board for a KeyError: steps Read, Guess, Check, Fix and Clean, a debug print on line 4, its output, and a Python docs card
Debug coach

It debugs with you.

An error you keep seeing? It walks you through it, adds a print to check instead of guessing, and lets you find the fix.

A quiz card, “What refills a token bucket?”, answered right, while a Claude Code build shows files changing at the bottom
Build by voice

Claude Code builds. You learn.

Say what to build. On your yes, Claude Code or Codex builds it, and WapasBol quizzes you on the ideas behind it. No API key when you're signed in to Claude Code.

A notebook card, “Sabak #3, you were right: in this project the routes live in app/urls.py”, beside the orb
Learns

It learns from its mistakes.

Tell it it's wrong. It checks who is right, says so honestly, and writes the lesson in its notebook.

Grass and flowers growing at the bottom of the screen, a sun in the corner and a sign saying “3h 04m straight, go touch some grass”
Breaks

And it looks after you.

After an hour, a two-minute brain break: pinball recall, mini sudoku or quick maths. After three, it tells you to go touch some grass.

And everything else.

  • Talking
    • Say “bol bol”.It wakes from the pill when you call it, or press the hotkey.
    • Interrupt any time.Words stop it mid-sentence. A cough, a clap or a “hmm” doesn't.
    • Catches garbled speech. It hears it again in the other language, or asks “did you mean…?”
  • Your project
    • Knows which project you mean. The folder open in your editor or Explorer, or the one you name.
    • Reads your project first. It maps every code file at start, so file questions come back faster.
    • Knows what Claude Code did.Ask “what did Claude Code change?” and it reads Claude Code's own log.
  • Learning
    • Hints, not code.Ask how to write something and you write it, with a hint when you ask.
    • Vibe, guided or focus.A creative co-pilot, a patient tutor, or quiet until you call it.
    • Brainstorms that push back.Feature ideas from what's out there, and a brainstorm that argues the other side.
  • Doing
    • Small edits by voice.“Import it in chat.ts”: shown as a diff, applied only on your yes.
    • Git and checkpoints.Status, commit, push and pull; save what works and roll back by voice.
    • Searches when you ask.Docs, news or prices: it searches, answers and names the sites.
  • Fun, anywhere
    • Moods and badges. The orb acts out the feeling behind what you say. Badges unlock as you use it.
    • Talk from your phone.A phone remote over your own private Tailscale network, paired with a one-time code.
  • Yours to control
    • Careful with your screen. It skips password managers and private windows, and removes secrets before anything is sent.
    • Runs on your PC.For Windows. A model on your own PC, or your own key. Biru Labs runs no servers for it.
    • Every feature has a switch.Turn any of this on or off in Settings, at any time.

All of this works in the development build and may change before early access.

The studio

Biru Labs also builds AI for other teams.

Alongside WapasBol we take on client work: RAG, voice, agents and the backend behind them. Recent projects include an Instagram B2B AI DM Automation SaaS for a US client and an eBay AI Arbitrage System for a client in Estonia, Europe.

Roadmap

Where WapasBol is.

  1. Built

    The first version

The pill and the orb, voice in English, हिंदी and Hinglish, the whiteboard, the debug coach, and building with Claude Code.

  2. Now

    Testing

Running it on more PCs and fixing what breaks.

  3. Next

    Early access

A small group of developers try it, break it and tell us what's missing.
